"Jewellery designer Sian Bostwick’s work is inspired by some of her favourite stories and fairy tales, and that creativity is reflected in her colourful and creative ‘workwear’.
She says: “What I wear is a expression of who I am and what I do. I’ve always dressed creatively and I love playing with colour, pattern and retro 1950s elements. These are such an expression of my style and my creativity that when I have to dress in smart office-style in blacks, greys and beige's for whatever necessary occasion, I feel stifled, straitjacketed and almost claustrophobic. My innate creativity becomes trapped and hidden, unable to express itself at all. For a business based on may ability to design, make and market beautiful jewels though my own creativity dressing super smart all the time is a complete killer to everything I need to do.”
